Ayari on target as Brighton stun Manchester City to close gap on leaders

Brighton secured a narrow victory over Manchester City this weekend, moving into third place in the league standings. Yasin Ayari scored the decisive goal in the 11th minute following a controversial free-kick decision involving Elliot Anderson.

While Manchester City struggled to provide Erling Haaland with sufficient opportunities, the visitors successfully defended their early advantage to hand the hosts their second straight league defeat. Despite the result, the performance of Enzo Maresca's squad suggests they remain a formidable side.
