Axford equals Westminster Mile course record to win UK road mile title

Kate Axford matched the historical standard on the roadway in London by clocking 4:23 to capture the national crown at the weekend gathering. Holly Dixon took second position, while Isabella Harrison followed in third place during the competition.

In the men's bracket, Cameron Boyek secured the top spot following a tight finish alongside Tom Dodd, with both athletes registering a time of 4:02. Alex Melloy rounded out the leading trio just one second behind.
