Auqib Nabi makes India ODI debut in second ODI vs West Indies in Guwahati

Fast bowler Auqib Nabi made his maiden international appearance for India during the second match of their bilateral series against the West Indies. KL Rahul handed the newcomer his cap prior to the contest at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, where the hosts opted to bowl first after winning the coin toss.

Nabi earned his selection following consecutive stellar campaigns in the Ranji Trophy, highlighted by a tournament-leading sixty wickets during the most recent season to help Jammu and Kashmir secure the championship. He replaces Nitish Kumar Reddy in the lineup, joining an attack that holds a one-nil lead in the three-game series following an opening victory anchored by Virat Kohli.
