Auburn Defensive Players to Watch Against Tennessee

Auburn enters its upcoming matchup against the seventeenth-ranked Tennessee Volunteers following a narrow twenty-one to fifteen victory over Vanderbilt. Meanwhile, Tennessee seeks to rebound from a twenty to seventeen defeat against top-ranked Texas, a contest where their offensive front surrendered ten sacks to opposing rushers.

To counter Tennessee and freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon, Auburn highlights three key defensive contributors. Edge rusher Da'Shawn Womack aims to secure his first sack of the season, defensive tackle Cody Sigler offers elite run-stopping capability to challenge the run-heavy Vols attack, and sophomore linebacker Elijah Melendez brings team-leading tackle numbers into the middle of the field.
