Asian Games: Kumkum Mohod, Dhiraj Bommadevara win mixed recurve team silver

Kumkum Mohod and Dhiraj Bommadevara claimed a silver medal in the mixed team recurve competition during the Asian Games. The Indian duo managed to erase an early four-point deficit against the Chinese duo of Jingyi Zhu and Mengqi Li before ultimately falling by a three to five margin.

Prior to reaching the championship round, Mohod and Bommadevara orchestrated a stunning rally to eliminate the Japanese tandem of Nanami Asakuno and Junya Nakanishi in the semifinal stage.

In addition to the mixed team podium finish, the nation's women's recurve squad captured a gold medal by overcoming South Korea in a historic first-time victory.
