Arsenal open to Dowman loan in right circumstances

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has indicated that the club will consider sanctioning a temporary exit for Max Dowman if a loan switch benefits the teenager's growth. The 16-year-old talent, who established new benchmarks last campaign as the youngest scorer for both the Gunners and across Premier League history, made 13 appearances during the team's title-winning season that ended a 22-year drought.

Although yet to play in the league this autumn, Dowman opened his season tally with a brace during Tuesday's 4-2 Carabao Cup victory against Ipswich.
