Arizona Diamondbacks News, 9/28: Not to be

The Arizona Diamondbacks fell short of the postseason despite a hard-fought effort, culminating in a nine to four defeat that left the squad out of the playoffs for a third consecutive year. Meanwhile, manager Torello Lovullo addressed his expiring contract and expressed his desire to remain with the club moving forward.
