AP Top 25 poll: Alabama leaps Indiana, sits just outside top five ahead of pivotal SEC clash with Georgia

Following a historic conference victory that pushed a ranked opponent into conceding a record number of points in regulation time, the Crimson Tide advanced one spot to sixth place in the latest rankings. This movement places them directly ahead of an upcoming home showdown against the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, undefeated Indiana slipped to seventh place after the adjustment. In other shifts across the rankings, Missouri climbed eleven spots following a decisive forty-five to seventeen triumph over Florida, while Pittsburgh entered the top twenty-five group for the first time following an undefeated start.
