
During the University of New Hampshire football team's weekend Homecoming celebration, legendary former running back Jerry Azumah received an official On-Campus-Salute and a plaque presented by the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame at midfield. Azumah, who previously overcame a lack of high school playing time to become a historic collegiate record-holder and Walter Payton Award winner, was joined in the Hall of Fame by former Wildcats coach Bill Bowes during the campus ceremony preceding UNH's 30-23 victory over Elon.
