Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese is rewriting the record books during the 2026 WNBA Finals against the Golden State Valkyries, helping her squad capture a two-to-one series advantage after three contests. During the second game of the championship round, Reese posted thirty points and sixteen rebounds, making her the third player ever to reach those thresholds in a single Finals matchup and the youngest individual to achieve the milestone.
She followed up that performance by scoring twenty-one points and grabbing twelve boards in the third game, joining A’ja Wilson as the only players in league history to post consecutive postseason games with at least twenty points and ten rebounds. Referee Randy Richardson also appeared during the fifth game of the series alongside these athletes.
