Alonso, Arenado earn Player of the Week honors with epic finishes

Alonso homered twice at Yankee Stadium during a productive five-game span across Toronto and the Bronx, driving in eight runs and securing a historic RBI milestone across both leagues. Meanwhile, Arenado powered the Arizona lineup through contests in Colorado and San Diego, capping his campaign with his eighth career thirty-homer season.

Acuña contributed a stellar defensive play in Miami to rob an opponent of extra bases.
