Allen stars as Bills open new stadium in style

Josh Allen delivered a dominant performance to lead the Buffalo Bills to a 41-31 victory over the Detroit Lions during their Week 2 Thursday Night Football clash. The contest marked the opening regular-season game at the newly constructed Highmark Stadium, where Allen notched the building's inaugural touchdown on a one-yard plunge.

Buffalo took complete control from the outset, establishing a 14-0 advantage in the opening frame before extending the margin to 27-10 by the intermission.

Allen accounted for five total touchdowns, including a pair through the air alongside two on the ground. That effort marked his tenth career outing boasting at least two rushing and two passing scores, establishing a margin of six such games clear of any other quarterback in league annals.
