All Attention Turns to Penn State's Matt Campbell Amid Questions

First-year head coach Matt Campbell is facing intense scrutiny following a difficult start to his tenure with the Nittany Lions. Critics are questioning whether his past success overachieving at Iowa State will translate to a major program with significantly higher expectations, especially after a surprising home defeat against Wisconsin.

Discussions surrounding the transition highlight the previous success achieved under James Franklin, who guided the team to a College Football Playoff semifinal appearance less than two years prior. While early-season victories against Marshall, Temple, and Buffalo did little to convince skeptics, Campbell must now demonstrate he can succeed at the elite level.
