Aggies Punter Tyler White Earns SEC Honors After Seven-Kick Performance

Texas A&M specialist Tyler White received conference recognition after punting seven times during a thirty-five to six defeat against LSU in Baton Rouge. The senior averaged nearly fifty-two yards per kick, with six of his seven boots travelling at least fifty yards, helping him secure national weekly honors.

While White excelled by pinning the opposition deep and limiting returns, the Aggies struggled offensively, totaling just one hundred ninety-seven yards under quarterback Marcel Reed. Kicker David Olano provided all six points for his squad through a pair of field goals, leaving head coach Mike Elko to acknowledge that his team must elevate its overall level of play.
