Agarkar not seeking extension as chief selector

Ajit Agarkar will not pursue an extended stay as the head of the national selection committee. Following this development, the leadership of Indian cricket is preparing to address the upcoming vacancy at the helm of the panel.

According to BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia, the governing body plans to finalize its determination regarding Agarkar's position within the next fifteen days.
