Aaron Boone Stresses Yankees Need To 'Get Up Off The Mat' vs. Rays

Facing elimination after two losses at Tropicana Field, the New York Yankees are trailing the Tampa Bay Rays in their American League Division Series. Manager Aaron Boone has called for his team to regroup following a 5-2 defeat in Game 2, which featured four defensive errors and a pair of home runs from Ben Rice.

Cam Schlittler struggled on the mound for New York, while Richie Palacios and Jonathan Aranda contributed key offensive production for Tampa Bay. The series opened with a narrow 1-0 result in Game 1, where Drew Rasmussen dominated on the mound and Bryan Baker secured the save.

With Aaron Judge sidelined by injury, the Yankees look to extend their season when the series continues this Wednesday.
