A potential quarterback change is on the horizon for Deion Sanders, Colorado

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders appears ready to alter his starting lineup under center ahead of this weekend's matchup against Texas Tech. Julian Lewis struggled significantly during a 23-13 defeat to Baylor, managing just 75 passing yards without recording a touchdown or an interception before being pulled by the coaching staff.

Isaac Wilson took over quarterback duties during that contest, finishing with 156 yards through the air and a single scoring pass. Analysts Matt Zenitz and Pete Nakos indicate that Wilson is slated to take the opening snaps this coming Saturday.

Wilson previously played two seasons at Utah before joining Colorado as part of the 2024 recruiting cycle, and he is the younger brother of NFL quarterback Zach Wilson. Kickoff for the upcoming game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
