Newcomer Jackson Harris delivered a breakout performance for the tenth-ranked LSU Tigers in their thirty-five to six victory over twenty-third-ranked Texas A&M. The former Hawaii wide receiver hauled in six catches for a career-best 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns after head coach Lane Kiffin challenged him to elevate his production.
Quarterback Sam Leavitt connected with Harris on a sixteen-yard score before halftime and later targeted him on a fifty-seven-yard trick play touchdown that sealed the dominant conference win.
