A'ja Wilson outscores Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell with 38 points; Aces star achieves historic WNBA first

Las Vegas started its postseason run with a double-digit victory over Indiana after A'ja Wilson delivered a historic night. The dominant center racked up thirty-eight points and sixteen boards on nearly seventy-nine percent shooting, eclipsing the combined output of opposing stars Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark.

With that remarkable stat line, Wilson established a new WNBA benchmark by recording multiple postseason games with at least thirty points and fifteen rebounds. She also climbed past DeWanna Bonner into second place on the all-time playoff field goals list.

The defending champions will look to maintain their advantage when the series shifts to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the next matchup.
