A Different Nebraska? Fitzgerald Praises NU's Evolution as Big Ten Play Arrives

Michigan State head coach Pat Fitzgerald expressed high praise for the Nebraska football squad as they prepare to enter conference matchups. Through their first three contests, the Cornhuskers have amassed an unblemished 3-0 record while putting up 139 total points and maintaining elite offensive and defensive statistics under the guidance of coach Matt Rhule.

Noteworthy performances include a dominant 56-7 rout over Bowling Green and a solid victory against North Dakota, highlighted by freshman Jamal Rule's 119-yard rushing performance and a 55-yard touchdown. Fitzgerald noted that the team appears completely cohesive and improved compared to their previous iteration on film.
