7 takeaways from the Lions’ loss to the Panthers

Following a late kickoff, the Detroit Lions dropped to a two-and-two record after falling thirty-two to twenty-six against the Carolina Panthers. Offensive penalties repeatedly derailed Detroit's momentum, including a crucial delay of game and false start sequence late in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, Carolina quarterback Bryce Young picked apart the Lions secondary by completing his first eleven passes and finishing with three hundred twenty-nine passing yards. Wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan contributed heavily to the victory with fourteen receptions for one hundred ninety-two yards and two touchdowns.
