49ers News: Welcome to the Bay, Matthew Judon!

The San Francisco 49ers have added pass rusher Matt Judon to reinforce their defensive front following multiple roster hits. Judon previously registered 5.5 sacks during the 2024 campaign with the Atlanta Falcons under defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, and he earned Pro Bowl recognition in 2022 with a career-high 15.5 sacks for the New England Patriots.

In addition, San Francisco is opening the practice window for defensive end Mykel Williams as he recovers from last year's torn ACL, though he cannot return to game action until Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks, while rookie defensive end Romello Height is anticipated to return this week following surgery on a fractured hand.
