San Francisco offensive lineman Trent Williams made his way back to practice on Thursday after sitting out the previous day due to a neck issue. This development provided a positive update for the organization, which is currently managing eight different players on its latest injury report.
Williams is progressing through a twenty-one-day evaluation period as he aims to rejoin the active roster after beginning the campaign on the reserve list.
Despite the positive step forward for Williams, several of his teammates remained sidelined for a second consecutive day. The group of non-participants included Nick Bosa due to a knee and calf concern, Mike Evans because of a rib injury, Dre Greenlaw dealing with a quad problem, James Thompson managing an ankle issue, and Keion White hindered by a hamstring trouble.
Additionally, Romello Height and Mykel Williams were limited in their workouts as they manage hand and knee ailments respectively.
