49ers elevate DE Matt Judon for Sunday's game

Veteran pass rusher Matt Judon is poised to make his first appearance for the San Francisco 49ers after getting called up from the practice squad for their upcoming matchup with the Denver Broncos. Judon, who joined the franchise on September 28, brings a career total of 72 sacks and will step in to help cover for the sidelined Nick Bosa.

Following the weekend contest, he will automatically return to the practice squad. Additionally, San Francisco promoted wide receiver Malik Turner while management evaluates whether Mike Evans can play through a rib injury.

To round out the roster adjustments, the organization promoted Sebastian Valdez from the practice group and parted ways with Viliami Fehoko by waiving him.
