3 teams in NFC East could be 2-3 by Sunday afternoon - Daily Slop

The Washington Commanders have released rookie running back Kaytron Allen, a sixth-round selection from the most recent draft. Allen struggled to find a role, recording only 41 yards on 12 carries across four appearances before being pushed down the depth chart by the return of Austin Ekeler.

Meanwhile, the team faces significant health concerns ahead of their upcoming matchup against the New York Giants. Wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs missed consecutive practices due to hamstring injuries, while Nick Allegretti remains sidelined with hip and Achilles issues.

Conversely, quarterback Jayden Daniels participated fully for the second straight day, and offensive lineman Sam Cosmi has returned to practice.
