2026 Week 5 Preview: UCF Knights @ Houston Cougars

The Houston Cougars and UCF Knights are set to clash on Saturday, October 3 at 12:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2.

Both teams arrive at TDECU Stadium holding identical 3-1 records, though the underdog Knights hold an early advantage in conference standings following an upset victory over TCU. UCF coach Scott Frost will lean on quarterback Keyone Jenkins for his third consecutive start while regular starter Alonza Barnett III remains sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained against Pitt.

Alongside Jenkins, running back Duke Watson leads a potent ground attack that averages 5.94 yards per attempt.
