2026 NFL Power Rankings
Following their 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium, the Seattle Seahawks carry championship momentum into the 2026 campaign. Quarterback Sam Darnold hoisted the Lombardi Trophy in Santa Clara after that February triumph, and Seattle later eked out a 13-10 win over New England during early-season action.
However, the club now confronts health hurdles under center, with Darnold anticipated to sit out in Week 2, coinciding with ongoing uncertainty regarding the availability of wide receiver A.J. Brown.
Elsewhere around the league, the Buffalo Bills entered their Week 1 clash against the Houston Texans as early favorites in national power rankings. Meanwhile, Denver Broncos expectations are soaring following a major deal to acquire Jaylen Waddle alongside quarterback Bo Nix.
Off the field, running back Josh Jacobs entered a plea of no contest, while outside the professional gridiron, college football witnessed Oklahoma State shock sixth-ranked Oregon in a 39-31 upset.
