2 Montreal Canadiens Featured On Latest NHL Trade Board

As the 2026-27 professional hockey season gets underway, two members of the Montreal Canadiens have surfaced on a prominent market board compiled by Lyle Richardson for Bleacher Report. Forward Kirby Dach secured the fourth spot on the roster after beginning his campaign with a single assist in his debut appearance.

This follows a previous season where he contributed eight goals and a total of 15 points across 37 appearances.

Netminder Samuel Montembeault also appeared on the catalog, taking the sixth position. The goaltender enters this period facing an uncertain future with the organization, partly due to the presence of prospect Jacob Fowler within the system.

During his previous campaign, Montembeault appeared in 25 matches, finishing with a 10-8-4 record alongside a 3.43 goals-against average and an .872 save percentage.
