India wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant recently addressed his absence from the limited-overs squad, admitting that missing out on the ODI side brings natural disappointment. While speaking on a show called Business of Sport, the red-ball regular explained that experiencing setbacks is an inevitable part of an athlete's professional journey.
Pant emphasized that maintaining discipline, clearing the mind, and keeping a steady training routine are essential to eventually staging a successful comeback. The former vice-captain currently leads the Rest of India squad for the upcoming Irani Cup after recently being bypassed for the backup wicket-keeper role during the West Indies series in favor of Dhruv Jurel.
