What is Puka Nacua's status for Rams' Week 3 showdown at Broncos?

Los Angeles offensive centerpiece Puka Nacua is set to miss a second consecutive contest due to a bothersome hip issue. Head coach Sean McVay revealed that the star wide receiver will sit out Friday's practice and enter the weekend listed as doubtful for the upcoming Sunday night matchup.

While the ailment has felt similar to a pre-hernia condition, team leadership remains optimistic about a return by the fourth week of the schedule. Without their top pass-catcher on the field during the previous outing, veteran teammate Davante Adams shouldered a heavy load by hauling in eight passes for nearly two hundred yards and a pair of scores.

Tight end Terrance Ferguson also chipped in significantly during that victory, contributing a touchdown catch of his own. Opposing defenses will now have to prepare for the Rams' depleted receiving corps as they travel for their next test.
