India secured a commanding six-wicket victory over New Zealand in the third T20 International after successfully chasing down a target of 199 runs in just 13.2 overs. The outcome gives the visiting side an unassailable three-to-nil advantage across the five-game series.

Opening batsman Abhishek Sharma led the successful run chase with a remarkable knock of 113 runs from 38 deliveries, featuring nine boundaries and eleven maximums.

New Zealand had initially posted a total of 198 for three after twenty overs, driven by an unbeaten 89 runs off 52 balls from Daryl Mitchell. Following the conclusion of the contest, Mitchell praised the exceptional caliber of the Indian opener's batting display during the post-match press conference, acknowledging the difficulty of containing such world-class strokeplay.
