'We are still waiting for apology' - Maresca on City's VAR frustration

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca voiced frustration that refereeing controversy eclipsed his team's display during their 1-0 Premier League triumph over Manchester United. The match-winning strike had originally been flagged offside on the pitch, but a video review overturned the call after judging Haaland to be onside.

The governing body for match officials later acknowledged an error, conceding that the goal should have been ruled out because Enzo Fernandez had committed an offside infraction by lunging at the ball and impeding opponents.
