‘This is not cricket, this is only batting’ - Gautam Gambhir slams Guwahati pitch

India secured a comfortable eight-wicket victory over the West Indies to claim an unassailable two-nil lead in their three-match one-day international series. The contest produced a massive run-fest featuring five centuries, including a double hundred by Shubman Gill, and a combined total of 811 runs across both innings.

Despite the offensive dominance, Indian team leader Gautam Gambhir heavily criticized the venue surface for heavily favoring batsmen over bowlers. Several pacers from both squads struggled immensely on the surface, with debutant Auqib Nabi conceding 84 runs without claiming a wicket during his spell.
