The India vs West Indies T20I series has become a run-fest, with every match except the opener surpassing 200 runs per side. Team India scored 249, 223, and 223 in three consecutive games, while West Indies chased down totals of 252, 209, and 247 in their respective innings.
The only exception was the series opener in Lucknow, where West Indies posted 171, a total India comfortably chased. The batting dominance has been so pronounced that former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar jokingly suggested altering pitch conditions and match rules to make 300-run totals in T20Is a regular sight.
Meanwhile, West Indies’ Shai Hope has been the standout batter, amassing 260 runs across four innings at an average of 130.50, while Gudakesh Motie led the bowling attack with the best economy rate of 8.88. India’s Prince Yadav was their most economical bowler, with a rate of 9.13, reflecting the series’ high-scoring nature.
