Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White returned for a third season despite a front‑office overhaul that saw president Kelly Krauskopf and general manager Amber Cox leave abruptly. White, who previously guided the Connecticut Sun to a Coach of the Year award in 2023 and served as an assistant during the Fever’s 2012 championship, now faces scrutiny after a first‑round playoff loss to the Las Vegas Aces, where the team’s defense allowed opponents to average over 90 points per game.
WNBA broadcaster Robin Lundberg suggested on his YouTube channel that White’s job could be on the line once a new general manager is installed, noting the importance of star players like Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell in any future decision. White told reporters she feels supported by the organization but acknowledged that the final call on her tenure rests with the franchise.
