"Scared": Colorado Coach's Message Goes Viral Before Deion Sanders Benches QB1 Julian Lewis

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders made a major lineup change during the opening half of a matchup against Baylor, benching starting quarterback Julian Lewis at halftime while facing a 10-3 deficit. Offensive coordinator Brennan Marion was captured on the sidelines angrily shouting at Lewis to stop being timid as the offense struggled to sustain drives.

Lewis finished the first half completing eleven out of sixteen pass attempts for seventy-five yards, alongside three sacks resulting in a loss of seventeen yards. Following the benching, Utah transfer Isaac Wilson entered the game under center for the Buffaloes to try and spark the struggling offense.

This latest quarterback switch follows a disappointing three-win, nine-loss finish the previous season and highlights ongoing stability issues under center for the program.
