Ranking Giants' reported options at QB: Why Jimmy Garoppolo may make sense after Jaxson Dart injury

Following a severe knee injury to Jaxson Dart that ended his season, the New York Giants are weighing their options at quarterback. Jameis Winston is set to start the upcoming Week 3 matchup against the Titans, and his performance could dictate whether the franchise explores outside additions such as Jimmy Garoppolo, Gardner Minshew II, J.J.

McCarthy, Mac Jones, Justin Fields, or Brandon Allen. Currently, the active roster features only Winston and Jake Haener, leaving the front office to evaluate several potential backups across the league following Dart's MCL, PCL, and meniscus damage.
