‘Ran Roughshod,’ ‘Going To Cost Trinidad Chambliss the Heisman’ — Stephen A. Smith Reveals Why Ole Miss Star Could Miss Out on Major Honor

Following a lopsided fifty-two to twenty-eight defeat on the road against Florida, analyst Stephen A. Smith cautioned that the blowout defeat could damage Trinidad Chambliss in the race for the Heisman Trophy.

Despite putting up strong individual numbers including nearly three hundred passing yards, one passing score, one interception, and two rushing touchdowns without his starting running back, the quarterback faces an uphill battle because of his team's defensive struggles. Florida piled up nearly five hundred total yards, highlighting ongoing concerns for a defensive unit that currently ranks behind several other college programs under the guidance of head coach Pete Golding.
