The scoring frenzy was epitomized by a historic 59-37 clash between Chicago and Carolina, which established a new Week 1 peak of 96 total points in a game that produced a Scorigami. Pacing the Bears to the third-highest single-game tally in club annals, Caleb Williams recorded at least 250 passing yards alongside two airborne scores while adding 50-plus rushing yards and two scores on the ground—the first player in team history to hit all four marks in one outing.

Complementing Williams' historic day, both D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai eclipsed 100 yards rushing with a touchdown apiece, helping Chicago match the all-time season-opener record of six ground scores previously set by the 1920 Detroit Heralds and Rock Island Independents. Chicago's 59 points also matched the second-highest output in an NFL kickoff matchup, trailing only Atlanta's 62 in 1973 and tying marks posted by Kansas City in 1963, Dallas in 1968, and Baltimore in 2019.
