‘Pakistan or Sri Lanka, India don’t take any team lightly’: Deepti not bothered about who they play in Asia Cup final

India allrounder Deepti Sharma emphasized that her squad remains focused on internal execution rather than worrying about their upcoming opponent in Sunday's Women's Asia Cup championship fixture at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Harmanpreet Kaur's lineup secured their final berth following a 40-run triumph over Bangladesh, awaiting the outcome of Friday's clash between titleholders Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

Sharma noted that while the squad plans to study that semifinal encounter to devise their battle plans, they approach every prospective challenger with complete seriousness.

Undefeated across all four tournament appearances, which include wins over Thailand, Hong Kong, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, India has benefited consistently from Sharma's two-way displays. Leading all tournament bowlers with 11 dismissals, the off-spinner struck an unbeaten 12 runs from 14 deliveries during a tense 56-run pursuit against Pakistan, followed by a rapid 13 runs off six balls and a three-wicket performance in the semifinal victory.
