Myles Garrett to undergo arthroscopic surgery on knee, Rams EDGE to land on injured reserve, per report

Los Angeles edge rusher Myles Garrett will be placed on injured reserve and undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his knee. The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year will be sidelined for at least four contests, keeping him out of matchups against the Giants, Broncos, Eagles, and Bills.

The Rams anticipate Garrett could make his comeback in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals. The 30-year-old was acquired from the Cleveland Browns back in June in exchange for Jared Verse alongside future first-, second-, and third-round draft selections spanning 2027 through 2029.

Garrett saw action on 39 snaps during an opening-week defeat against the 49ers in Australia, finishing without a single tackle for just the fourth time across his career after missing extensive training camp time with the knee issue. Afterwards, he acknowledged that he was preoccupied with managing his health rather than executing his assignments on the field.
