'It feels like coming full circle' – Australian DS Matt White rejoins EF Education-EasyPost 16 years after departing

Matt White is making a return to EF Education-EasyPost for the 2027 season, marking a homecoming to the organization where he launched his career as a sports director in 2008. After departing the team years ago, White spent time with Jayco-AlUla and Movistar before finalizing this latest move.

He joins a leadership group featuring Charly Wegelius, Ken Vanmarcke, and Tom Southam, with a focus on developing the squad's young talent and maintaining an aggressive racing style in major events. The team roster is undergoing significant changes, as Richard Carapaz, Michael Valgreen, and Kasper Asgreen exit while Ben Healy and Neilson Powless step into leadership roles alongside new signings like Tao Geoghegan Hart, Iván Sosa, and Lorenzo Milesi.
