The performance drew high praise from running back Saquon Barkley, who highlighted that Wicks had already demonstrated such playmaking ability throughout preseason practices.

Washington struggled to contain the divisional matchup, with defensive back Nick Cross notably surrendering a completion to Wicks during the contest.
