Following the conclusion of a hard-fought five-match international series that ended in a two-all stalemate due to weather interruptions, Indian skipper Shreyas Iyer heaped praise on opposing batsman Shai Hope for his stellar displays. Hope accumulated 261 runs across four innings during the fixtures, highlighted by a pair of brilliant centuries that included an unbeaten 102 off 45 deliveries at Ranchi and another remarkable 102 not out off 50 balls in Hyderabad.

His consistent contribution also earned him the player of the series accolade.
