'He is playing with freedom': Shubman Gill on Virat Kohli's new approach

India secured a commanding eight-wicket victory in the opening one-day international against West Indies following a dominant batting display by the skipper and his star teammate. Virat Kohli anchored the chase with an explosive, undefeated knock of 139 runs from 88 deliveries, while Shubman Gill contributed 110 runs to their massive 151-run stand.

Reflecting on the successful pursuit, Gill remarked that the optimal approach to maximizing Kohli's impact on the field is granting him total autonomy to play his natural game. The pair easily chased down the target to claim the first win of the series at the venue.
