'Celebrations cut short!' - no-ball saves Root after being bowled

England skipper Joe Root experienced a dramatic reprieve during his side's pursuit of 130 runs in the decisive third Test match hosted at Edgbaston. Having reached an individual score of 23, his stumps were shattered by Mohammed Ali, briefly leaving the English team in trouble at 35 for the loss of two wickets.

However, the fielding side's joy was instantly halted when the umpire signaled an illegal delivery. Because Ali had overstepped the crease to bowl a no-ball, the wicket was voided, permitting Root to resume his innings in the run chase.
