'Boys becoming Men': Gautam Gambhir lauds India's youngsters after gutsy 2nd T20I win vs New Zealand

India secured a 2-0 series lead against New Zealand following a dramatic four-wicket victory at Hagley Oval. Despite slipping to 70 for 5 during their pursuit of 181, the visitors recovered thanks to a vital 31-run cameo from Naman Dhir and a match-winning partnership between Tilak Varma and Nitish Kumar Reddy.

Varma, who finished unbeaten on 51, earned Player of the Match honors for anchoring the successful chase with one ball remaining. Head coach Gautam Gambhir praised the composure of his young squad on social media, highlighting their ability to perform under pressure.

Earlier in the match, Glenn Phillips and Jacobs helped the hosts set a competitive total of 180, while Arshdeep Singh led the Indian bowling attack with two wickets.
