Zimbabwe has named their squads for the upcoming UAE tour, with captain Sikandar Raza leading the team in both ODI and T20I formats. The tour begins on October 17 with an ODI tri-series featuring Bangladesh and Afghanistan, followed by three T20Is against Afghanistan starting October 27.
Two players, wicketkeeper-batter Tafadzwa Tsiga and leg-spinner Vincent Masekesa, are set to make their international white-ball debuts, replacing Innocent Kaia and Graeme Cremer in the ODI lineup. Tsiga, a first-class century-maker, and Masekesa, who took 25 wickets in domestic cricket this year, will join a batting lineup anchored by Brendan Taylor and Craig Ervine, while Blessing Muzarabani leads the pace attack.
Kaia, recovering from a thigh strain, is expected to return for the T20I series. The tour concludes with two Tests against Afghanistan from November 5 to 17.
