Wrexham’s transformation from a struggling non-league side to a Championship club with Premier League ambitions has been matched by a bold stadium overhaul. The club’s £70 million rebuild of the Kop stand at the Racecourse Ground—one of the oldest international venues still in use—is set to be completed by next season, expanding seating to 7,500 and pushing the stadium’s total capacity past 18,000.
The project, overseen by chief strategy officer Aidan Miller, includes upgraded dressing rooms, media facilities, and hospitality spaces, ensuring the ground meets Premier League standards if the team secures promotion. Under Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, Wrexham has achieved three consecutive promotions in just three years, narrowly missing out on the Championship play-offs last season.
Beyond the Kop, the club has also invested in its academy, women’s team base, and Colliers Park, reflecting a broader commitment to infrastructure and community impact that mirrors their rapid on-field success.
