Wrexham owners Reynolds and Mac buy football pub

The celebrity backers of Wrexham AFC have purchased The Turf, a famous tavern situated directly beside the team stadium, in order to safeguard the establishment and integrate its administration with the athletic organization. The watering hole, which holds historical ties to the founding of the football club in October 1864, will continue to be operated by its longtime landlord Wayne Jones following the acquisition from Admiral Taverns.
